Here’s a selection of the demands I get to hear – some more regularly than others. A couple are from different children or are made up (I’m sure I’ll never be asked for a horse!). Seriously though, I do get to hear the most ridiculous demands:
“Daddy I want a horse!”.
“I want to drive the car!”.
“That’s mine!” (Any object whatsoever).
“I want to watch your tablet!” (4.32AM).
“I want a rainbow!”.
“I want cake!” (All day at random times).
“I want one of those for Christmas!”

Well ain’t this a fine thing? I did used to have mad hair when i was at school, but I don’t know where this resemblance has come from! Does she look like Keith to you? Haha.

A question facing many parents (especially first timers) is ‘at what age do we change from a cot to a bed?’.
With worries like ‘but he/she wriggles so much all night and will end up falling out of bed’ and ‘I can’t be arsed to convert the cot/buy a bed!’ may make you want to leave the task for a little longer. But the fact is, that you can’t keep them in there for too long. Something needs to be done!
