Relax, it’s time to allow TrackR Pixel to make parenting that bit easier. You can attach the fob to just about anything and then use the free app to find it. When you press the button in the app the Pixel rings at a good volume level and flashes blue. You can also press the button on the Pixel to ring your phone (even if it is on silent).
‘Crowd locate’ works when other TrackR app uses phones scan your fob and then you can see the last known location on the map. Helpful indeed!
The device itself is very light and well made. The battery is larger than the older version and should last around a year. It’s easy to change the battery (CR2016), requires no special tools and are easily available at very low cost on Amazon.
In my opinion, items that would suit this device for Bluetooth tracking purposes, include keys, wallets, bags, suitcases, cuddly toys, portable devices (speakers/power bricks/torches,etc). It uses Bluetooth rather than GPS so its perfect for items in the home. I can see it being really good to take to a camp site to find those important items in a large family tent!
